Hi!
My name is Claudia and I'm a 2023 graduate from Loreto Kirribilli, studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Arts at UNSW. I studied both STEM and humanities subjects for the NSW HSC, achieving a Band 6 in all subjects (HSC 'All-rounder'). I have three years of tutoring experience working at the coaching college Kumon Education Centre, as well as experience receiving tutoring myself, both of which contribute to my unique teaching style. I offer a personalised tutoring experience with practice, feedback, hundreds of resources and study skills advice.

In school, I worked hard on developing study routines and skills which worked for me, just as I hope to foster in my students (alongside assisting with knowledge and content). Achieving a high band 6 in Chemistry (HSC mark of 96) and Maths Extension 2 (HSC mark of 92) was a testament to this persistence and passion. I also completed the Accelerated Mathematics Advanced course, Ancient History, English Advanced and Studies of Religion 1.
I approach teaching as a chance to build a relationship of trust and openness so my students feel comfortable sharing their strengths and weaknesses, keeping the experience positive and constructive without adding unnecessary pressure to the challenges of school. My three years of tutoring experience allowed me to interact with a wide range of students (from preschool through to high school) , so that I'm able to adapt my approach and offer a personalised learning experience which cannot be accessed as easily at school.
