Premier's Award VCE French (Perfect 50) || Monash Uni medical student || English subject dux || 99.70 ATAR Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and I'm a current medical student at Monash University who's been tutoring students from primary to VCE since 2023. I finished Year 12 with an ATAR of 99.70, with my strongest subjects (which helped to boost me to the top) being my linguistic subjects: English and French. I got a perfect 50 in French which landed me a Premier's Award, and I'm very confident in helping students learn the marking rubric inside and out, and get into the mind of a real VCAA French examiner to optimise their marks and get the result they deserve. I scored Subject Dux for English, meaning I got the highest SAC scores of my cohort (in a high school known to be very strong in English), and would again be able to help you refine your expression and present ideas with a clarity that will earn you the marks you want. I would focus on reviewing the student's own writing and picking out areas of improvement, as well as guiding them through rewriting processes so they know what to work on outside of lessons, and can continuously improve between sessions. I can also provide some of my own essays as examples for extra help! I can also help to prepare you for the MMI as part of the medical entry process, with simulated practice scenarios from a broad comprehensive bank and in depth feedback based on my own experiences (and the experiences of many others who have gone through the interviewing stage) to get you ready for the big day! I'd love to work with you, and I'd want to hear from you/the student personally about how they're feeling about the subject, what's worrying them and what they want to target to make sure I'm helping in the best way possible and in a way tailored to the individual.
