| 200+ hours tutoring experience | Hi, I’m Ashton, a 2023 graduate from Villanova College (98.90 ATAR verified), and a third year student studying a Bachelor of Science at The University of Queensland with a major in Biomedical science (7.0 GPA). My strengths and areas of focus include assignment writing, short answer question writing skills, and senior biology and chemistry content. This includes reading over work, drafting, providing study tips and assignment guides, and explaining some of the difficult concepts that come with senior sciences. However, I am more than happy to work in any of my listed subjects below (see raw scores). All work will be tailored to the goals and focus areas of the student, which will be covered in the first session. In addition to working with senior students, I enjoy working with grade 7-10 students in the fundamentals of writing for the humanities subjects, and mainstream mathematics and science. My goal is to make learning as enjoyable as possible whilst helping to boost your results. I have found that once you can achieve a logical flow of information on any topic, your work is guaranteed to sound better, and this will be reflected in your marks. This is a strength that I have developed over the years, and one that I hope to pass on to students. EXAM PREPARATION: Learning the concept -> Active recall -> Spaced repetition. This is the methodology that I and many others in my cohort used to achieve great marks in the external exams. The earlier you can start this process, the better. I can provide assistance at all stages of this learning process and assist in explaining concepts for my listed subjects.
