My name is James and I am a 2023 Mansfield State High graduate with an ATAR of 98.90, with a 99 in Physics, 95 in Specialist Math and 96 in Math Methods. I have also achieved 100% internal marks for Physics and Math Methods and earned the Subject Award for both subjects. I have received 4 Academic Excellence Awards for Years 9-12, meaning I achieved straight As during this period. For the past few months, I have been tutoring on the side and have also previously tutored younger students at Mansfield State High.

Having recently graduated, I am very familiar with the new ATAR system and can offer valuable insight into the structure and framework of ATAR and how to optimise your child's ATAR score. Furthermore, I have created numerous resources aimed to assist your child in breaking down and understanding complex topics and material (I have attached a couple examples below). I also understand that every student has their own learning style and I will adapt my teaching to suit their specific learning style and needs.
Additionally, personalised feedback will be provided after every lesson to ensure both you and your child are up to date with their learning and progress and are completely aware of what areas require improvement. Moreover, an effective and personalised study plan will be created and updated every lesson containing in depth explanations of what, when and how to study to ensure your child's learning is optimised.
Currently, I am offering my tutoring services for those who need help in all levels of Math (including General, Methods and Specialist), Physics, Digital Solutions and Economics for all year levels. My current rate is $50/hour but I am happy to negotiate cheaper deals for specific circumstances e.g., sibling deals. I am based in Calamvale and conduct my tutoring sessions either online via Zoom or in person at my house (where I have an allocated tutoring space) or at the nearby Sunnybank Hills Public Library.

James is a phenomenal person and would definitely serve as a great tutor to any student in need of assistance. He is extremely gifted in mathematics and IT and has shown a lot of potential in these fields. Additionally, he has scored stellar results in all his years of high school so I have zero doubt he is capable of helping other students lift their marks up considerably. Not only does James have a great understanding and knowledge of a various range of subjects, he is also an extremely patient and kind individual who will break down the most complex materials into smaller, more digestible parts. He also has a great temper and will never lose his patience with anyone. It is primarily because of this that I would strongly recommend James as a tutor to any student regardless of age or subject!

James is a really intelligent and compassionate individual who is great with problem solving and thinking of outside the box methods. He cares deeply about his friends and peers and is very good with forming strong relationships with people he connects with.
