Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am a current university student studying a double degree in Exercise and Sport Science and Nutrition Science at Deakin University. I graduated from Balwyn High school with a 96.4 ATAR. WHAT I OFFER: I offer English, Science and Numeracy tutoring for all primary school students and high school students up to year 9. I also offer VCE Physical Education tutoring and lots of VCE tips and tricks to help you achieve your VCE goals. ABOUT ME: Creating a study - life balance in year 12 was key to my enjoyment and success throughout the year and is something I place emphasis on with my students. I am a passionate sports person and played NPL soccer throughout high school and to this day and enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I love working with people and believe that working together in a passionate and caring environment is key to anyone's study success. MY TUTORING STYLE: I create a personalised plan for each of my students which aligns with their school schedule as well as focusing on their strengths and weaknesses. Each student will have different goals in mind, which we will set together and aim to achieve session by session. For VCE students I offer study tips and tricks as well as extra resources and exam style questions to help them achieve their goal study score. I believe in breaking down concepts and using mnemonics to help student memorise and understand concepts simultaneously as well as continuous practice and weekly quizzes. I am also available outside of class time via messages or call for questions or any extra help! HOURLY RATES: In person - at local libraries (Kew, Balwyn, Greythorn) and home visits Primary school students - $40 High school students (up to Year 9) - $45 VCE students (Year 11/12) - $50 Please feel free to contact me for more information or any questions!
