With 2+ years of experience in tutoring students from a range of schools including selective, I understand that every student is different. Hence, as a tutor, my goal is to curate a heavily personalised program to target specific weaknesses and solidify the strengths of all students. As this is my passion, I really try to put my maximum effort into creating a program that works best for you and always aim to accomodate your preferences and availabilities! A little bit about my tutoring style 📚: ⭐️ Each lesson lesson will run for 1 hour (or more, if required by student) ⭐️ Lessons will revolve around mastering all areas of the syllabus, with a specific focus on the student's weaknesses and upcoming assessments ⭐️ Personalised homework will be assigned, and I will provide feedback in the upcoming days ⭐️ I will be available 24/7 by text and email to answer any questions ⭐️ My tutoring style centralises around a more friendly approach in order to encourage discussion to ask for feedback and apply such ⭐️ I constantly update my teaching methods to current requirements of NESA/schools ⭐️ I do my personal best to research beforehand and read necessary critical articles to strengthen the ideas taught in lessons Focus on English  📝: English was my favourite subject in school, and that passion continues on to this day. However, in Junior years, I averaged 70% (at best), and naturally, I hated the subject because I thought I simply was not an ‘English person’. I later learned that mastering English was through practising strengthening my voice/expression in my writing. I am sure that with a little bit of guidance and a few tricks, anyone can achieve outstanding results in English! In my lessons, I will: ⭐️ Rundown basic language techniques, writing structures and skills ⭐️ Strengthen paragraph structure ⭐️ Aid students in developing their personal voice and creative expression ⭐️ Focus on applying critical theory into essays (this isn’t necessary at every school, but I find this develops sophistication of the work and one’s own knowledge on the matter to create more creative and impressive thesis points —> a bonus is that HSC markers tend to love this) ⭐️ Focus on reading comprehension (something skimmed over at most schools, despite being a key component of HSC paper 1) Subjects Offered: 📝 English Standard, Advanced (year 11, year 12) 📝 Year 7-10 English Rates: One-on-one: ⭐️ $70/hr Years 11 and 12 ⭐️ $60/hr Years 9-10 ⭐️ $50/hr Years 7-8
