I'm Saoirse, and I graduated from Ascham School in 2023. I studied Physics, Chemistry, Modern History, Mathematics Extension 1, Mathematics Advanced, and English Advanced. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Studies / Doctor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales. **HSC** As a tutor, I strive to ensure my students feel confident in their abilities. I develop an individual approach to each student's unique abilities, taking into account both school expectations and the NESA syllabus. I do this through engaging with a wide range of learning techniques including question and exam feedback and practise, teaching and clarifying content, developing essay plans, and providing comprehensive feedback on other work completed both in sessions and individually. On top of this, I am happy to share my extensive personal resources (summaries, essay plans, question banks etc.) that were key to the results I achieved throughout high school. Having developed effective and successful study techniques throughout my time at school and with extensive knowledge of the NESA syllabus, I feel confident in providing support and assistance to students across all years in the subjects listed. **UCAT AND MEDICINE INTERVIEW PREP** As well as academic tutoring, I offer assistance for the UCAT (prerequisite exam for undergraduate medicine applications) and medical school interviews, achieving a UCAT score within the 98th percentile of all test-takers, obtaining interviews for every medical school I applied for and receiving offers for 4 medical schools. For students intending to take the UCAT I offer feedback on scores as well as in-depth techniques to approach the exam in the most effective way possible. My 2023 HSC results: Maths Advanced: 96/100 (Internally ranked 1st Ascham) Maths Extension: 48/50 (49/50 in HSC exam) English Advanced*: 96/100 (97/100 in HSC exam, internally ranked 4th at Ascham) Chemistry: 94/100 (Ranked 1st in Ascham trial with mark of 96/100) Modern History**: 93/100 (Internally ranked 2nd at Ascham) Physics: 92/100 (internally ranked 2nd at Ascham) *English Advanced: I can assist with HSC prep and essay writing; however note that I have only studied the following texts: Common module: The Crucible (Arthur Miller) Mod A: Hagseed (Margaret Atwood) and The Tempest (Shakespeare) Mod B: Selected poems from T.S.
