Hey! I'm Anika and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Bond University in the Gold Coast. I graduated high school at Pymble Ladies College Sydney in 2022 and tutor in NSW HSC Maths Advanced, English Advanced, Biology, and PDHPE, as well as other subjects for the younger grades! ✅ 2 years of tutoring experience - online tutoring and one-on-one private tutoring ✅ Band 6 - Maths Advanced (94), English Advanced (94), PDHPE (97), Biology (92). ✅ NSW Working With Children Check I am a friendly, patient, and encouraging tutor who is passionate about helping students grow and develop their skills and knowledge in their subjects. I aim to be a good role model, great listener and proactive tutor for my students and help increase their motivation to reach their full potential :) I believe a key responsibility as a tutor is to not only tailor lessons specifically to the student's areas of concern/growth but also go the step further to mentor the student in order to form a safe and comfortable learning environment. Lessons may consist of reviewing classroom or syllabus topics or teaching to get ahead in class, helping with assessments or assignments, assisting students with homework, completing practice papers, test tips and preparation, research tasks, and ultimately helping them with any areas of concerns or needs for improvement. I have a lot of secondary and HSC resources to help out with the lessons and provide for students. Since I am studying in the Gold Coast, I would only be able to do online tutoring, but rest assured I have experience of tutoring online for 1 year.
