Hi! My name is Marc and I'm a university student at the University of Sydney studying BEng (Mechanical). My 2020 HSC ATAR was 94.4, and I achieved a band 6 in Mathematics Advanced, Studies of Religion 1 and Information Processes and Technology in which I achieved first place in the Archdiocese of Sydney. I've been tutoring for 2 years now, and I've loved seeing how my clients have grown into more independent and confident people and how they've used their academic success as a springboard for life. I have a strong passion for maths and for helping people achieve the best results they can. I focus on creating an environment for my clients where we emphasise learning from mistakes, asking questions and problem solving. I'm a firm believer in that learning is about doing and not just listening to the teacher explain things, and so I use an active learning approach with my students. I also help my students in making good study habits, and balancing their schoolwork as well as other commitments. I am also available for face to face or online sessions via Zoom.
