I am a newly graduated high school student with an ATAR of 97.15 from SCEGGS Redlands, Cremorne. I am commencing a Bachelor of Laws/ Bachelor of Science at the University of Technology Sydney. Internally I was ranked in the top 5 for all my subjects, specifically ranked 1st for Biology, 1st for Design and Technology, 2nd for Legal Studies, 2nd for Business Studies, and 5th for English Advanced. I achieved top bands in Advanced English, Legal Studies, Design and Technology, as well as Business Studies. I also achieved a 88 (Band 5) for Biology. I am able to tutor students in Year 11 and 12 in the subjects of English Advanced, Design and Technology, Legal Studies, Business Studies, and Biology. The tutoring I received during Year 11 and 12 allowed me to develop and refine my skills and enabled me to excel in English Advanced and Legal Studies. This has provided me with an understanding of the considerable benefit tutoring can provide for particular subjects. I want to allow other students with the same opportunity to improve their academic confidence and skills in subjects they are finding challenging or want to improve their current marks. I am able to adapt my tutoring style and structure to meet the needs of the student and specific subject. Tutoring sessions can focus on essay structure, short answer responses, assisting students with assessments, practice exams, as well as making revision notes. I have extensive notes for English Advanced (specific texts), Biology, Design and Technology, Legal Studies, and Business Studies that I am able to share with my students to aid in the development of their own revision notes. I also offer support to my students outside the scheduled tutoring sessions for questions that may arise regarding assessments or subject topics that require prompt feedback.
