The HSC is tough and stressful time, and sometimes, a very daunting task to navigate by itself. But I believe that with the right support, anyone can perform well in the HSC, and I am here to help facilitate this for my students.

My tutoring is based on three principles:
Establish a thorough and holistic understanding of the concepts at hand:
To answer a question well, you must fundamentally understand what information you are required to use. Through my teaching, I break down the syllabus content and their concepts into manageable and intuitive chunks of information and relate this information to previously explored and explained ideas so you can see the big picture.
Understand how to approach questions:
It is also important to understand what markers are looking for in your questions. Analysing questions and the usage of mark value, verbs and key terms to indicate the subject of response and the detail required are essential skills which will be built on through sustained practice and feedback.
Build optimal exam preparation and exam-taking techniques:
There are many things that also affect your performance outside of your ability to just answer questions. Your lifestyle, the leadup days to the exam and being in the exam room are very important, and being able to manage stress is essential to allow optimal performance.

However, there is also so much more than just tutoring that I want to bring. Through my instruction, I want to instill in all of my students a passion and desire for learning, and the skillset necessary to continue to love learning long after their HSC years are over.
As a an All Rounder Achiever and a NESA High Achiever in Mathematics Extension 2 (93), Mathematics Extension 1 (95), Physics (94) and Chemistry (91), I am more than willing to lend the valuable experience I gained, alongside showing the practical skills and learning styles that allowed me to achieve.

Lessons and Pricing
Currently, I offer face-to-face and online tuition. Group tutoring is $45 per hour (up to 3 students per group) and $60 per hour for one-to-one tuition. For group tutoring, ensure you have your groups arranged in advance.
