I’m Archit and I graduated from Sydney Grammar School in 2023 with an ATAR of 99.75. Having recently completed Year 12, I have a thorough understanding of the content of the HSC course, and this combined with my prior tutoring experience allows me to break down even the most complex concepts in a way that will allow you to not only know it, but properly and thoroughly understand it. As a student who did a range of olympiads and extracurriculars in Year 12, such as OzCLO and Chess, I know how important it is to be able to use your time as effectively as possible. Maths ===== HSC Mark for Maths Extension 1: 99/100 (100/100 in the HSC) HSC Mark for Maths Extension 2: 96/100 (ranked 3rd internally) Two of the biggest mistakes that I see students making when studying maths is wasting too much time creating their own notes and also not effectively learning from their mistakes. The most important thing I can do as a tutor is provide you with a set of strategies that I developed and used in my HSC year, which helped me secure consistently impressive marks, and then personalise it to fit your needs. 1. In a fast paced HSC maths course, I will teach every topic before it is covered in class giving you time to do more questions in class 2. I will provide my own notes for each topic, which you can easily refer to at will 3. I will support the theory with questions that range in difficulty, ensuring that you fully understand the concept, while also giving you an idea of potential challenging questions that can be asked at the end of an exam 4. I will give weekly homework problems to ensure that you study maths in the best way possible - by doing as many questions as possible Physics ====== HSC Mark: 96/100 (Ranked 6th internally) From my own experiences, I recognise that physics is one of the hardest subjects not only to do well in, but to fully understand the theory of. In order to combat this issue, I have developed a set of strategies to help you, and make sure that you don’t face this problem. 1. The content will be taught ahead of class allowing students to go to class with an established understanding of the theory 2.
