Hey! I'm Gavin Gao, and I'm a 2023 graduate from North Sydney Boys, currently ranked first in NSW. With 2+ years of experience tutoring, I'm offering online and in-person lessons primarily for Mathematics Advanced, Extension 1 and 2. I am also able to teach Physics, Chemistry and English for both the HSC and Preliminary courses. Although I’m not currently offering tutoring for subjects from Year 7 to 10, feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
As your tutor I'll help you develop efficient study techniques, organisation skills, better time management, motivation and discipline through highly personalised lessons. This is in addition to a thorough understanding of the syllabus and the methodology behind structuring responses I will provide to my students. My lessons will revolve around identifying the student's weaknesses and gaps in knowledge or exam technique, providing a fix to these issues and constantly strengthening them through practice questions. I'm also happy to provide assistance for extracurriculars, career advice, and exams such as the UCAT.
