Hi everyone! I’m Daniel, and I graduated from Sydney Grammar School in 2023 as a HSC All-Rounder (Band 6/E4 in 10+ units). I am currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Law at the University of Sydney as a Dalyell Scholar. With over a year of tutoring experience and 5 years of leadership experience with large cohorts of younger students in programmes such as Cadets, I have an understanding of the interpersonal skills required to form strong connections with students that generate pride and enthusiasm in oneself. I would love to carry this forward and provide you with the best and most thorough guidance possible to help you reach the next level across English, History, and French.
Having just completed my HSC in 2023, I am up to date with the most successful approaches across English and History, along with effective and practical study habits that can be applied to generate strong results. I often observe the pitfalls of poor time management as students inefficiently use their time studying humanities subjects. Having balanced my consistent results in year 12 with music, cadets, sport, and social life, I have come to truly understand that success across English and History lies in skilfully balancing memorisation and adaptability rather than spending hours on end creating quote-banks and notes. I have developed a unique framework for various question forms across these subjects and will share the strategies essential for tangible success in examinations and smaller assessments.

Daniel is easily the best tutor I've ever had. We tried quite a few before him but he immediately stood out to me as he finds a way to explain confusing subjects in a clear manner with the in depth knowledge he has in both English and Modern History. He is super kind and engaging so he is always easy to listen to and he is able to spell out the exact requirements for all sections of the exam like no one else. He often sets extra optional tasks which he marks quickly and gives in depth feedback, no matter when I send it to him. Even outside classes, I constantly reference the notes he has sent me to complete essays and homework tasks. My marks have already shot up under his guidance and I look forward to continuing to work with him!
