About
My name is Peter Holland and I graduated from Salesian College Chadstone in 2023 with an ATAR of 98.25. In 2024, alongside my tutoring, I hope to study a double degree of Law and Arts at Monash University.
During my time at Salesian College I was active in the School's sporting teams and was the Vice-College Captain. Hence, I am an advocate for a well-rounded and fruitful high school. I aim to make VCE more palatable for students and de-stress high school as much as possible; in turn, aiding students to maintain an appropriate work life balance.
I am offering tutoring in Junior Science and English, VCE Chemistry, VCE English, and VCE Literature. I will not only teach and help during lessons, but I will be available during the week to answer questions, and I will help outline homework / study management strategies with each student.
I understand that every school studies different texts in both English and Literature, however, I do not believe this will decrease the efficacy of my tutoring. Each individual essay format is underpinned with the same principles, and, for no additional cost, I will aim to read and study any texts I am unfamiliar with prior to teaching them.
Every student is unique and has their own method of learning. Whilst other tutors and companies sell themselves on fanciful ATARs and Study Scores, I seek to help student's uncover their personal bests. I hope to ride the highs and the lows of High School with my students in order to help them reach their goals.
