About
Hi I'm Cate! in the HSC I got a band 6 for Legal studies, E4 for English Extension 1 and an 89 for Advanced English. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Australian Catholic University.
I have extensive knowledge of the Advanced english modules, specialising in the texts 1984, King Henry IV Part: 1, the poetry of John Keats and the film Bright Star. Similarly, in Extension English 1, I have a detailed understanding of the modules literary worlds and worlds of upheaval, specialising in the texts Frankenstein and Metropolis. Through this expertise, it allows me to help students who are looking to strengthen study skills, exam technique, essay structure, along with providing feedback for any drafts.
In legal studies I have extensive knowledge on the topics, crime, human rights, world order and family law. I can provide tutoring for students looking to get a better understanding of the content, how to structure essays, best ways to tackle questions and the most effective study methods. Overall, I plan to tailor my lessons for the needs of each each student and look forward to hearing from you!!
