G'day, my name is James and I am here to help you succeed! I am currently a second-year dental student at the University of Western Australia. In my undergraduate degree, I studied biomedical sciences at Monash University. I graduated from high school in 2019 with a selection rank in the top 1.9% of Australia. I have done a variety of STEM subjects, scoring in the top 4, 6, and 8% of the state for physics, chemistry, and English respectively. Previously I have worked as a tutor teaching primary and secondary school students. I have personally mentored over 100+ students in mathematics with a primary focus on surpassing the Australian mathematics curriculum. I have experience in providing specialized coaching for entry examinations in Victoria's top 4 selective-entry schools (i.e. Melbourne High School, The Mac. Robertson Girls' High School, Nossal High School, and Suzanne Cory High School). I like to personalize my tutoring by discussing with my students areas that they may find challenging and then build on from there to reach excellence.
