I am an extremely passionate tutor that recently completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma in 2023. I have an IB score equivalent to 96.5 atar with adjustment factor points (HSC). The higher level subjects I took include English HL, Geography HL, Theatre HL. The standard level subjects I took include Sport Science SL, Maths SL and French ab initio. I tutor both HSC and International Baccalaureate students. However, I tutor the following IB subjects: English, Geography, Theatre and Drama, Sport Science and PDH/PE. $50 per hour for IB tutoring 💎 I also provide feedback and advice on Internal Assessments (IAs), the Extended Essay (EE) and Theory of Knowledge (TOK) essay and exhibition. HSC Tutoring Rates include: $50 per hour 💎 My teaching style is student focussed with a goal to motivate and assist students to maximise their potential. I understand the challenges faced by high school students, thus, I tutor with patience and ambition. By designing lessons directly linked to the students learning style and requirements, I establish a positive environment that follows a growth mindset. In this nurturing environment, students feel comfortable to ask questions and engage, ultimately enhancing their critical thinking ability and knowledge. With an extensive understanding of the syllabus and curriculum requirements, exam styles, and rubrics and assessment criteria, students that I tutor are well equipped and prepared when facing their academic difficulties. My method of teaching involves unpacking dense and intricate concepts in depth. This is done by placing emphasis on fundamental skills such as practice through past papers, exam style questions and active recall.
