I graduated from Sydney Grammar School in 2023 with a 99.95 ATAR. I have already had two years' experience as a high school maths and physics tutor working both privately and at a tutoring company (references provided on request). While in Years 11 and 12, I tutored both Preliminary and HSC maths for this company. Over this time, my teaching approach has focused on identifying gaps in subject, getting the student up to speed and then ahead of the class, building confidence and boosting results. I provide detailed feedback with reference to course expectations as well as homework and marking. I also focus on exam and assessment preparation and skills. Often a student will not have been enjoying a subject if they are lacking confidence and I aim to make my lessons pleasant but efficient. As a 2023 graduate, I am very aware of the academic and extra-curricular demands of high school and have a strong grasp of the current HSC syllabus. I will be commencing a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Science (majoring in physics) at USYD with a Chancellors Award Scholarship. 🌟HSC Marks🌟 Maths Extension 1: 98 Maths Extension 2: 94 Physics: 98 Music 2: 100 Music Extension: 50 English Advanced: 96 I currently teach Maths (Advanced, Extension 1, Extension 2), Physics and all music courses for HSC and Preliminary courses as well as Years 7-10. My rate is for Preliminary and HSC students, but I am happy to reduce my rate for younger students. I tutor both in person and online (Zoom).
