Hi everyone! I'm Kieran. I'm a Master of Science (Physics) student at the University of Melbourne, and graduated a Bachelor of Science focused on physics and pure mathematics. I've been privately tutoring for the past 4 years, teaching years 7-10 maths, VCE Math Methods, VCE Specialist Maths, VCE Physics, and university maths, as well as employed by the University of Melbourne tutoring first year maths and high school bridging support. In addition to tutoring, I work for the University of Melbourne's student and scholarly services, where I help students develop their career and employability skills. I’ve also completed research projects focused on searching for dark matter within particle accelerators, and quantum computing, and I’m a former president of the Physics Students' Society. Throughout my four years of tutoring, I’ve worked with students from a diverse range of backgrounds. My approach centres around analysing a student’s areas of weakness and tailoring my support towards improving those. Practising problems is essential to success in maths and physics. So I have custom notes, slides, exercise sheets, summary notes, and practice exams I can give you, and I’ll work through them with you to ensure you fully understand each problem. I tutor remotely and in person and I hold a valid working with children check. I hope to work with you soon!
