950+ hours of tutoring experience | 1st Place Sydney Catholic Schools in Mathematics Extension 1 | HD USYD Engineering and Commerce student. Hi everyone! My name's Jason and I'd like to tell you a bit about myself. Qualifications: I graduated in 2022 with an ATAR of 98.50. I achieved a 96 in Mathematics Extension 1, a 98 in Mathematics Advanced, a 95 in Physics, and a 90 in Economics. I am currently a Dalyell Scholar at the University of Sydney studying a Bachelor's of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor's of Commerce where I average a High Distinction. Experince: Beginning in June 2022, I have amassed over 850 (and counting) hours of tutoring experience across 3 year levels, in 6 subjects, with more than 35 students. I have had the privilege of seeing students improve their rankings by more than 50 places in just one semester, another going from receiving sub-50 marks to achieving a high band 4, as well as several band 5s and 6 in the HSC. My Tutoring: As I did not attend an academically rigorous private or selective high-school, much of my academic success was a product of independently realising what learning and study methods are effective for each subject. Therefore, I unequivocally believe in a strong understanding of content being based upon actually understanding, from a logical perspective, how the concepts we learn work. In learning this valuable lesson, I found my true passion for tutoring and teaching the subjects that I love. Thus culminating in my early and voluntary start to tutoring whilst during Year 12 with the accelerated Maths class and now my continuous pursuit of providing the best supplementary educational service I can. Every student is different, and I pride myself and enjoy doing everything I can to find a teaching style that best suits my students. Whether its a more supportive role in exam revision and help with difficult questions, a more hands-on and rigorous teaching of course content, or even if the goal is acceleration in a given subject, I can accommodate it. I was fortunate enough to be able to collect and collate a rather large selection of resources during my senior school years. These resources worked for myself, and my students, and will be invaluable to any new students. Session summaries can also be provided to parents/guardians upon request to understand the student's progress and collect feedback to adapt my teaching style to what is required. jason is an incredible tutor!! through his extensive resources and assistance, he has helped me to succeed in economics and extension math, where i achieved marks i did not know were possible! not only did he tutor me during our lessons, but outside our lessons he was always there to respond to any questions i had for him! i highly recommend his help.

I am based in Ryde (near Top Ryde Shopping Centre). Drives within 5km incur an additional charge of $5. Drives greater than 5km will incur varying charges, but generally speaking, it will be around $10.
