Hamish I.

I am a second year University student at the University of Sydney studying a Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering (Space) and a Bachelor of Commerce. I finished my high school studies at Sydney Grammar School in 2023, having ranked consistently in the top 20 each year. During my time at school I studied English Advanced, Maths Extension 1 and 2, Physics, Chemistry, French (continuers and extension), and received an ATAR of 98.65 and an HSC all-rounders award for achieving a top band in 10+ units. During my time at school I was a prefect and a peer support leader, and am comfortable teaching and engaging with younger students. My learning and teaching approach is one of genuine understanding of the concepts involved and being confident applying skills to a range of questions, as opposed to simply rote-learning. I am confident to read prepared assignments and provide feedback as well as teaching concepts and assisting in the application of understanding.
