About
Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am currently a Senior Medical Scientist working at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. In my downtime, I enjoy tutoring kids and assisting them not only with their subjects but also developing their confidence as individuals. I believe this helps all individuals be the best version of themselves when facing any challenge, academic or otherwise.
I embrace a positive and adaptive teaching style, helping kids to understand real world examples and applications of how what they learn now, actually does come into practice in their future. I like to make learning as fun and easy going as possible, and believe in creating a relaxed environment to help kids learn not only the content but also what we can all be capable of.
I have tutored for the last 8 years, helping students achieve their 90+ ATAR goals. I tutor primarily in English, English Lit, and Biology and received an ATAR score of 98.05 myself. I then went on to complete my Bachelor of Science with an English Minor at Melbourne University, and further completed a Masters of laboratory Medicine.
I specialize in teaching years 7-10, and my first class is always free to ensure that my teaching style compliments the students learning style.
