Hi I'm Payam Sobhanian and I graduated from Glenunga International High School in 2022 with a ATAR of 96.75 (Selection rank 98+), and currently study the Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) at the University of South Australia. I studied Biology, Chemistry, General mathematics, General English and Research Project achieving A band results in all subjects and A+ merits in Biology and General Maths. • SACE Biology (A+ with merit) • SACE General Maths (A+ with merit) • SACE Chemistry (A+ overall) • SACE General English (A overall) I often helped my peers and friends with their school work and gained joy and fulfilment doing so. I realised tutoring would be a fantastic way in using my skills, knowledge and interests in a subject to improve students academic success. My priority is that your student masters precisely what needs to be known, to maximise time management, efficiency and minimise confusion. In the sessions I will mainly use active recall strategies which resulted in my success and ensure the sessions are interactive and engaging. I am a strong advocate of helping students to have a deep understanding and enjoyment of a subject rather than simple route learning. As a recent highschool graduate and experienced tutor, I understand the stresses and difficulties involved in this period of students lives, and would be the ideal person to guide and support them to success.
