⭐ ATAR 99.80
🏆 DUX of Al-Faisal College, 2020
🎓 Bachelor of Advanced Mathematics (Honours, Statistics) and Computer Science, UNSW
Hey, how's it going :) My name's Ayoob. I graduated school as DUX of Al-Faisal college in 2020, with an ATAR of 99.80, and Band 6's in all my subjects.
My HSC marks are listed below:
4U Maths 98
3U Maths 100 (9th in state)
Physics 93
Chem 96
English Advanced 91
I ranked first internally for Maths Ext 1 & 2, Physics and Chemistry - I ranked second for English
Since graduating school, I've conducted 1-on-1 and group tutoring lessons for various levels of Mathematics, as well as Physics and Chemistry. I've tutored students from a range of different backgrounds and schools - some have come to me hoping to solidify their foundations, and others wanting to go from a 90 to a 99. I always focus on explaining the core ideas behind mathematical concepts, and getting my students to understand questions from multiple angles. I loved mathematics, and I want to show my students why.
I provide my students with quizzes and tests to assess their progress and help them identify gaps in their knowledge or weaknesses in their exam technique. I generally choose out questions from various past papers or the Cambridge textbook, but I curate my own questions to test the student on particular topics. I've co-written work booklets for almost the entirety of both Advanced and Extension 1 Mathematics syllabi, and even produced full-length exam papers for both of them, so I've got a bit of experience with writing up interesting problems :)
I'm currently studying a double degree in Advanced Mathematics (majoring in Stats) and Computer Science at UNSW.
I charge $40/hr for one-on-one tuition and $30/hr per person for group tuition
