All my lessons are individualized and customized to the student depending on personal needs. Group or private lessons are both workable, depending on what you prefer. Working with me includes:
- an analysis of weaknesses (that we target) and strengths (that we master)
- making small approachable goals that lead to the final destination of excellence
- my time outside the class where students can ask questions, anytime :)
What sets me far apart from other tutors is that I don't only teach the problem, but how to approach a question efficiently, along with how to maximize time by knowing how to study, which is the thing that sets apart good students from exceptional students. All students can solve a certain equation, my students can do it faster, easier -- all without doing immense amounts of work, because they don't just work hard, they work smart.
I'm so excited to meet new people and strengthen the skills of my students not only academically but in addition, striving for their mindset of excellent students and teaching them to study, guiding my students through each of their individual journeys. I have students ranging from year 2 - year 10, and I hope you will join me :) fun facts about me:
- I've been tutoring math and selective entry prep for almost 3 years now, so I have a ton of experience with teaching and guiding students.
- I received entrance into Suzanne Cory High School with 3 superiors, although I rejected the offer, I'm so proud of that achievement.
- Throughout my participations in the Australian Math Competition, I have received distinction annually.
- I currently hold a full scholarship that runs for 4 years at a prestigious private school, namely Bacchus Marsh Grammar that I singularly attained through a test similar to selective entry.
- I double accelerated General Math (VCE) and attained a study score of 44 in year 10 against yr 12s.
- On a weekly basis, I volunteer as a tutor at math support, a co-curricular within school to assist students of all ages in math inquiries.
