My name is Arjun, and I graduated in 2022 from Hurlstone Agricultural High School, South-Western Sydney's academically selective and consistently highest-ranked school. I achieved Band 6's in two courses, with my strongest subject being Mathematics Advanced (97 and 95 for internals and externals respectively), and am now studying Software Engineering at the University of New South Wales through their Honours Program. I am also currently applying for entry into medicine this year, having attained a 97th percentile in the UCAT examination. I have had great experience in teaching to all levels in many different situations, and I know firsthand what it takes to succeed in a multitude of schooling contexts. I am passionate about sharing the blessing of knowledge with other people. Through teaching, I aim to pass on relevant, unique and important thinking processes and knowledge to my students, enabling them to achieve their desired results that would have been unforeseeable prior! I firstly recognise that, especially during the higher levels of schooling such as Preliminary and HSC, many students replace extracurricular activities with tutoring, in the hopes of maximising their marks. However, THIS IS WRONG! I am a persistent advocate for extending my guidance past the classroom context, and encouraging the continuation of extracurriculars, which HELP students to feel spirited in their final years of schooling, thus allowing them to walk into school feeling prepared and content. In addition to tailored guidance in your child's subjects, I also provide additional advice on matters that extend beyond the classroom. I assist my students in University and Scholarship Applications, as well as HSC Exam Preparation and Technique. I strongly believe that my role as a tutor goes beyond simply teaching a subject, and is more about providing mentorship that allows students to extend their goals further and further.
