My name is Hamish.
I have been living in Italy since the age of 11 when my parents decided they'd had enough of the busy 9 to 5 life! We moved to a small town an hour north of Rome and have since opened multiple Language Centres since then with our main focus being to bring the English language to rural communities in Italy. This has also brought about the occasional expat wanting to learn or just better their Italian.
During this process I have realised just how fun language teaching is and would like to have the opportunity to bring some of my teaching knowledge and experience into teaching Italian!
My previous experience has been using the "Direct Method" which is a conversation based method that also includes grammar exercises and listening/writing assignments
That said I am up for anything; tutoring, help with homework or assignments, basic conversation...
Lessons with me would be between 1 and 2 hour sessions for anyone above the age of 10!
