We contacted Christina for my son early in Year 11, when it became apparent that he was really struggling with every aspect of English - from reading and understanding the texts to writing essays, analysing material, and getting his ideas onto paper. Christina spent time getting to know how he learned best and adapting her style to suit his individual needs. She used his strength in maths to try to create "formulas" or patterns he could follow for essays and analysis, trying to find a way to make English more logical for him. Her patience and understanding have been exceptional. Christina has worked with him throughout both Year 11 and Year 12, and we’ve seen such a positive change in his skills, confidence, and results. We genuinely could not have got to this point without her support and encouragement. Back then, he would not have been capable of sitting a 3 hour exam, and when we first engaged Christina, our hope was simply to get him to a passing level. But she has taken him so much further, he went into the VCE English exam last week with confidence, knowledge, and a genuine belief in himself. We’re so grateful for all of Christina’s hard work, dedication, and patience over these two years, and I would highly recommend her to any parent looking for a local tutor who puts genuine care and effort into her students.

We contacted Christina in late 2023 as our son was struggling with English (Yr11). From the initial phone call and subsequent meet and greet Christina was positive and she engaged with our son and his needs. In 2024 he met with Christina, mostly weekly. Her guidance and understanding of his current level of work and what he needed to do to achieve a pass in SACS and in final exams was invaluable. Christina quickly worked out the best strategy to complete English tasks/essays and ensure that all components were addressed. Christina worked well with his teachers which assisted him. The confidence Christina gave to our son was invaluable. With hard work from both our son and Christina’s tutoring help our son achieve the best results he had ever achieved in English with a study score of 36. We would recommend Christina to anyone looking for an amazing and understanding tutor. We travelled a good hour each way to see Christina but she was worth her weight in gold.
