I have known Sameer all throughout his three year journey at the Queensland Academy of Health sciences as his chemistry teacher. He is an excellent and highly responsible student who worked to achieve the best outcomes possible. Sameer always showed an attraction to the natural sciences with a particular interest in the medical field which was genuine and displayed it in and out of the classroom consistently. I also found Sameer to easily connect with his fellow students and displays strong communication skills also extended to his teachers where he was always respective, polite and could hold a respectful conversation on a variety of topics and at levels of engagement that sat outside a student of his age and maturity. When receiving feedback, Sameer would always accept it with a very positive attitude and actively engage with it to improve whatever aspect the feedback was directed towards.

It is with great pleasure that I write a reference for this young man. I taught Sameer Psychology and Theory of Knowledge during his time at QAHS from 2018-2020. In class, Sameer demonstrated a remarkable problem-solving ability, and was often able to offer and articulate alternative viewpoints and different perspectives during class discussions and activities. He was always polite and considerate towards myself and his classmates, and he consistently demonstrated a thoughtful, caring nature. Sameer’s high-level communication skills were also showcased when he hosted the school awards ceremony in his final term at QAHS.
