👋I'm Olivia and I'm a Ramsay scholarship recipient studying Law/Humanities at UQ. In High School I received:
- 91 in French (I have a B1 Level in French on the CEFR language level scale; I am not fluent but I am very proficient)
- 95 in Literature
- 92 in Modern History
- 91 in Physics
- 89 in Chemistry
I loved studying English, History, Music and French in high school but I understand how they can be difficult subjects and I'm happy to help.
I can online tutor via zoom. This way, we can talk face-to-face while I use Microsoft Whiteboard to explain what I'm talking about. I will of course give you access to these whiteboard files so you can use them whenever. Don't worry; you don't need to have zoom, you can use the online version and all I need is your email.
In my experience, anxiety to ask for help can really set students back, so I am all about creating a casual and communicative environment to motivate and build skills. There's no such thing as a stupid question!
P.S. I have a cat called Mittens and if she's in the room while we are tutoring she helps me tutor. 🐈

In preparation for my English exam, I had Olivia as a tutor. Not only did I ace my exam, but she taught me study skills that I can take away and use for other subjects. She is motivating and guides you through the work, ensuring you are understanding concepts. She is extremely patient and didn’t mind when it would take me a while to get something. Olivia not only prepared me for my exam but she made feel confident upon entering it. She’s an amazing tutor and I couldn’t recommend her more!
