Hi, I'm Jude, and I want to help students who are passionate about furthering their learning, whether they are struggling, or looking to extend their learning. I am a professional tutor and work to guide students through new concepts. I'm also very familiar with explaining the process and approach that should be taken to a question such that a student will be able to develop the same effective practices for themselves. I can also look over previous workings from questions and offer advice on their methods and/or presentation in obtaining their answer or nudge them towards the correct answer if they have made a mistake. My teaching is effective and unique because I myself have a strong and in-depth understanding of the concepts I teach. Because of this, I am able to introduce new concepts at a gradual pace and connect them to previous concepts that a student is already familiar with. I tutor maths at all levels (primary-tertiary) and am able to teach and support students studying VCE units such as Mathematical Methods. I am also highly competent with the content from various Monash University units (see below) from multiple faculties, including engineering, computer science, maths, and general programming. I also teach Music Theory up to and slightly beyond VCE Music Performance. In regards to a lesson plan, I am able to teach a student new content that they request and help them understand any parts of it that they don't fully understand. I can help students through their own questions that they find or have been given. I can also source/create questions for students to test their knowledge. I am able to tutor online and in the student's home or a suitable public space, etc. When you contact me we can figure out a time that works for both of our schedules.
