Through various leadership and mentoring roles, I have taught and developed lessons in STEM-related subjects for over 6 years. Attending a science-focused high school and studying medicine has given me a strong foundation in STEM subjects. My passion for medical research and innovation substantiates theoretical knowledge with practical application. Alongside STEM subjects, I have a passion for linguistics, I teach English Prep to Year 12, including subjects within the IB, HSC, VCE, WACE, and QCE syllabuses, in addition to French abitio. Many students aren’t able to thrive in the classroom because they lack one-on-one recognition and attention. All students have different strengths and weaknesses. As a tutor, I prioritise developing an understanding of each student’s long-term and short-term goals. Over the years I have taught students of different ages, from different cultures at different levels of ability. These experiences have allowed me to adapt my teaching style and lessons to meet the goals of my students and their families. My general approach focuses on small changes in study habits and easily appliable exercises to maximise the efficiency of learning, understanding, studying, and retaining information. With these skills and strategies, my students find that subjects they thought were impossible were very much possible. High School is stressful and tedious at times, and many high-achieving students crumble under the pressure. I provide a supportive hand to ease the pressure on my students so they can perform to their maximum capacity. If you prefer studying with your friends or siblings or like the environment of learning with people close to you, I completely understand. Create a group and do lessons together at discounted prices. Message me for more details. Groups must be 3 or more students. Other than the listed subjects I also teach: - Prep - Year 7 Mathematics - Prep - Year 7 Science - Prep - Year 7 English - Medical School Interview Preparation - JCU Dental and Medical Application and Interview - Selective High School Test Preparation - NAPLAN Preparation Students (Years 3,5,7,9) - Essay Writing - Assessment Preparation - Internal Assessment (IB) - Extended Essay (IB) - Theory of Knowledge Essay (IB) I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals. Feel free to message me anytime.
