Hi, I'm Mehansa, a first-year medical student at the University of Notre Dame Australia with a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of Melbourne, where I majored in Human Structure and Function. I have a strong background in biology and mathematics and have experience tutoring students across both primary and high school levels. With a strong academic background in science and mathematics, I have a genuine passion for helping students build confidence in their learning and achieve their academic goals. My tutoring style is friendly, supportive and personalised. I believe that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand each student's strengths, challenges and learning style. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and working through challenging concepts without feeling overwhelmed. I can help students strengthen their understanding of biology and mathematics, work through difficult topics, prepare for assessments and exams, develop effective study strategies, and build confidence in their own abilities. My goal is not simply to help students memorise content, but to help them understand the concepts and develop the skills they need to become more independent learners. I offer tutoring for primary and high school students and can tailor lessons to suit each student's individual needs and year level. Sessions are generally 1-hour sessions as it is ideal for maintaining focus and making the most of our time together, however extra time may be added on if necessary.
