Having graduated in 2022, I completed the South Australian Certificate of Education and achieved a raw, untutored ATAR of 99.5 with a 93rd percentile LAT. I also received the school's Leonard Bakewell Law Scholarship, which is awarded to the pre-eminent Year 12 student entering the field of law. My best subjects were Legal Studies (A+ with merit; equivalent to HSC Band 6 with state ranking), Ancient History (A+ with merit), English Literary Studies (A+; equivalent to HSC Band 6), and Physics (A+). I was also the school dux for Legal Studies, Ancient History, and English Literary Studies, having scored A+ in every assessment. In addition to this, I received the school prize for German every year that I took the subject. I'm passionate about unlocking the potential of students by making sure they can build a deeper understanding of the curriculum rather than resorting to rote memorisation. More broadly, I'm able to teach effective study techniques and strategies. I am well-versed in online tutoring, having been tutoring multiple students for over a year as part of my SACE Legal Studies tutoring company. My students are currently achieving an average grade of A+, showing that online learning is not a barrier to success. I know how to maximise the tools at my disposal in delivering high-quality lessons. I'm particularly strong with written assessments, meaning I'm able to both walk students through the process of crafting said reports and mark them as a form of drafting. Regarding this, every written assessment I produced received a perfect score of A+, with a highlight being an average report grade of 100% in the written assessment aspect of Physics.
