Hi, I’m Bella! I offer tutoring for years 5-10. I have substantial experience working with children ages 10-17 as I have volunteered as a netball coach for 5 years, I have completed work experience in primary schools, and was Vice Captain at my school. I am a HSC student who is currently studying Advanced English, Aboriginal Studies, Society and Culture, Community and Family Studies, and Ancient History. For the last 4 years I have come first in Child Studies/Community and Family Studies and last year came first in Society and Culture, Aboriginal Studies, and Advanced English. Through my experience as a netball coach and Vice Captain I have developed excellent communication skills which assist me in tutoring sessions. I am a critical thinker who gives guidance and support during learning challenges which is a crucial attribute in being able to have the most beneficial impact on students. I also have a diverse look on different ways to tutor students depending on their learning styles and needs to ultimately benefit their learning. In 2024, I will be studying at university for Primary Teaching Education due to my passion in wanting to teach young people. My ultimate aim is to make a difference in students' learning through different approaches to find ways for them to engage in their learning. I have an incredible ability and passion for essay and creative writing, and have previously won 1st place scholarships for my creative writing pieces. I have also received leadership awards in school due to my role modeling and mentoring skills. As a tutor, I prioritize the needs of a student. My aim is to develop a student's love for learning and to help them grow into a student who has confidence in themselves and will challenge themselves. I am a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about sharing my knowledge and assisting others on their academic journey.
