ABOUT DAMIAN: Damian is an experienced, passionate writing tutor with a unique emphasis on combining writing activities with geography-based concepts and games. Damian excels at working with high-energy children, and motivating students who don't normally like to write. There simply does not exist a cooler writing tutor than Damian. Please consider giving writing tutoring with Damian a try! The first session is free, and Damian will NOT mind at ALL if you don't choose to book a second session. Sometimes you gotta try something out to know if it works, and trying something out should be free! Oh, and the best part is... all children are awarded their VERY OWN educational EARTH GLOBE AND BOARD GAME for completing their 5th session! HOW THE WRITING LESSONS WORK: Writing lessons with Damian typically take between 1-2 hours and are performed in the convenience of the student's own home under parental supervision. At the start of each writing lesson, the student is presented with a new, mysterious item from somewhere in the world and given a brief explanation as to which country it comes from. From that point onwards, the student is presented with writing activities that are based on the country of the world that the student was originally told about. Writing activities are tailored specifically to the educational needs of the student, and can include anything from skills-based activities, to essay and assignment writing. As a reward for all their hard work, students are offered geography-themed games during breaks and at the end of lessons... But ONLY if they finish their writing! By the time the session is over, your child will have improved their writing skills, learnt about a new part of the world, and had HEAPS of fun while doing it... Pretty cool, right?

Education

EXPERIENCE: Damian has accumulated over 2 years experience tutoring primary and secondary school students in writing, literacy, maths, biology and psychology. Damian is specialised in working with high-energy children and students who are reluctant to write. EDUCATION: Damian is studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in psychology (ongoing) and maintains a perfect GPA score of 7.0 at Griffith University. In addition to this, Damian is participating in a Certificate III in Entrepreneurship and Small Business (ongoing) and is developing his tutoring business as part of the coursework.
