Hi there, my name is Anna and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and helping students improve at school. To me, tutoring is more than just helping students with their schoolwork, it’s about equipping students with life-long skills. In essence, tutoring helps shape the future one student at a time. It gives me great satisfaction when I see my students improve their grades as well as grow more confident in their abilities.
About me:
• About 10 years of tutoring experience having taught over 150 students in both primary and high school (upto year 10) in both mathematics and English (all levels).
• Taught a variety of students from students with special needs to highly gifted learners
- This includes special needs like autism, ADHD, auditory processing disorder, dyscalculia, dyslexia (to name a few).

I am more than happy to explain the content numerous different ways until a student fully understands it. This is done in a non-judgemental way as there's no such thing as a silly question!
Alongside teaching the content from school, I work on the psychological side of things to increase students' confidence in their abilities, which can influence their grades.
Lessons are conducted 100% online -> saves time, saves petrol, students feel comfortable in their homes, lessons are interactive, in a digital age there is no more losing homework!

Prices:
• $60 per hour for primary maths or English
• $70 per hour for high school maths or English
• Note: lessons are one hour which includes 5 minutes of verbal feedback after the 55-minute lesson is completed.

Some examples of student academic achievements/progress:
• Taught student from year 7 to 10 maths and English -> in the beginning she was sitting on a C grade. After two terms of working with her, she achieved an A grade in her report. On top of this, she finished top of her class! Mum was very happy!
• Currently teaching a home-schooled student both maths and English who is in year 7 -> when I started teaching him last year, he was lacking confidence, suffered from anxiety and auditory processing disorder, after about a month of working with him, he had grown in confidence and was participating in the lessons more. Mum and student very grateful.
• Currently teaching a student (maths and English) who is in year 3 and has been diagnosed with ADHD and mild autism -> mum has recently informed me that her daughter is now in front of her peers in English while she is on par with her peers in maths. Another success story!
• Another student I’m currently teaching from a different state, is a mathematics prodigy -> he is in year 5 and currently working through year 9 level mathematics! He thoroughly enjoys these difficult questions (especially algebra and equations) as well as the tips and tricks shown. Another very happy student 😊
