I've always had a natural ability and curiosity in Math and Science. During year 10, I completed an online program through the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the most prestigious STEM university in the world, passing their introductory chemistry curriculum with an exceptional 92% grade. It is this passion to excel and grow which I love to foster in my students as well, whatever their ability may be. EDX Certificate ID: 89db6e2e72624a63aec5c43f4a5cf8d0 I'm currently finishing up year 11 of the IB Diploma program. My most recent predicted IB score was a 42/45, a 98.5 ATAR. I also completed the 11 HSC Advanced math course in year 10, top of the cohort as an accelerated student. My approach to tuition is that I always try to connect the concepts back to real world examples, and explain them in the most intuitive way possible so that my students grasp concepts, rather than memorize facts. I keep a copy of the syllabus for each of my students, and go through after each lesson in my own time highlighting important points I need to revise with them, and ticking off what they understood well, along with dates so I can ensure they consistently review older concepts. I also put a heavy focus on practice questions and exam readiness. I'm available most afternoons If students have a digital ink stylus, most find online lessons more convenient, using a video or audio call and digital whiteboard software I travel the T1 train line daily, so I can visit any house near a station between Central and Gordon.
