About

Hi there! My name is Esther and I am a high school tutor offering more than one year of intensive experience, both through companies and privately. I am in my second year at UNSW, I completed my first year in a Bachelor of Advanced Science (mathematics & physics) and am now studying Computer Science, with a current WAM of 88.4. I graduated high school in 2022 with an atar of 97.4. My philosophy is that students will be most successful if they aim to enjoy and fundamentally understand what they are learning, never memorising anything or accepting "that's just how it works". I am passionate in the subjects I teach as a result of myself following this mentality, which allowed me to graduate with not only excellent marks and my sanity in check, but having truly enjoyed my studies. Due to my packed uni schedule I am unfortunately only available for online tutoring, with availabilities listed below. I have the most extensive experience tutoring online, so I can assure that it will be no less smooth-sailing than in person lessons. It's lovely to meet you! :)

I graduated in 2022 at Katoomba High School, where I was awarded DUX of my yeargroup as well as the ADF Future Innovators Award for both Katoomba High School and NSW School of Languages.

After struggling with physics and failing my prelim exam, I reached out for tutoring and began with Esther:) things changed from there I studied better with her help which improved my grades a lot to get an impressive score for my hsc exam! Esther has a very bubbly and encouraging personality. Her tutoring is excellent and easy to understand, she is very flexible and approachable. Definitely recommend her lessons to everyone!
