About

Hi, Catherine here! I'm a 2nd-year uni student studying a bachelor of science and a bachelor of secondary education (honours) at Monash University. I'd love to help out with general science (y7-10), VCE biology and psychology, and even mathematics (y7-9). Whether it's homework, upcoming/finished test and exams, establishing good notes, or revision, I'd like to offer any assistance and advice with any struggles or questions that may come up. For a little bit of information about me: I'm passionate for a range of subjects in and out of studying. At university, I'm majoring in immunology (how the body responds to sickness) and am also studying psychology. Outside of that, I enjoy playing the guitar, piano and singing. In high school, the subjects I chose for VCE included Indonesian, music performance, biology, psychology, further maths and maths methods. I do aim to be a science/biology teacher at a secondary school, so tutoring will definitely be in my area of practice. This will be shown in terms of fostering critical thinking, helping students develop study habits and by showing my own passion for learning to hopefully inspire students!
