*99.95 Atar | 45.50 IB* Hello! I'm Brandon and in 2022 I graduated from Trinity Grammar School where I completed the IB diploma, receiving full marks (45/45). My scaled IB admissions score (IBAS) in regards to the updated UAC system was a 45.50, converting to a combined rank of 99.95. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Commerce at UNSW, where I have received a Scientia scholarship. As a student who underwent the IB course and scored full marks, I have learned to understand the nuances and challenges of year 12 courses. Therefore, I will be able to offer a unique teaching experience which will assist students in achieving their individual goals whether it be in the IB or HSC programme. Below are the marks I received in the IB subjects I tutor: - Chemistry SL: 89/100 (Band 7) - Mathematics SL: 92/100 (Band 7) - Business Management HL: 84/100 (Band 7) - Sports Exercise and Health Science HL: 82/100 (Band 7) - English Literature HL: 78/100 (Band 7) I also look forward to providing mentoring and proofreading services for IAs/EEs, which I have come to learn are some of the most challenging aspects of the IB course. Thus, this will ensure that my students can comprehend and retain the information effectively. Furthermore, I recognise that learning styles differ between each student. Accordingly, I will be able to provide personalised lessons to my students which are tailored to their individual needs and learning styles. My time competing as a competitive swimmer in high school has taught me the importance of discipline and determination. I look to apply these qualities in my teaching, ensuring that I am assisting my students to the best of my ability whether it be structured lessons or in-depth preparation prior to the lesson.
