Hi I'm Ella, I'm a recent graduate from Gilroy Catholic College in 2023 with a 94.8 ATAR. I mainly offer tutoring in high school mathematics, with my love for the course leading to a band 6 (93/100) in Mathematics Advanced and an E3 (44/50) in Mathematics Extension 1. With my 2+ years of tutoring experience I am open to helping answer any questions and catering my teaching to your child's needs.
I am currently studying a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney.
Throughout my HSC studies, I was a hardworking and dedicated student. Internally I consistently received throughout the year:
1st in Maths Advanced
1st in Chemistry
2nd in Biology
6th in Maths Extension I, 2nd in preliminary course
9th in English Advanced
Band 6 in SOR
As a recent HSC graduate, I understand the struggles and persistance it takes to maintain consistency. I am also firmly in touch with the new syllabus content with my own knowledge and theory notes being validated and up to date. I am also willing to provide study tips and strategies that I used to help maximise marks as well as avoiding burn out, as well as assisting my students in any way possible along this journey!
During tutoring sessions I am open to helping answer any queriers about the content, going through the theory behind answers, helping with homework (especially with the younger grades), looking over assessment tasks, and setting additional questions if applicable.
Spots are filling up quickly for tutoring, with zooms meetings on Thursday nights mainly preferable at the moment, or meeting at castle hill library 4-5pm on a Wednesday or Tuesday.
