Hi! My name is Sanika and I am a hard working and driven Highschool student in year 12. I currently take subjects including Extension English and Music. English is definitely one of my best subjects as I have consistnelty ranked first in Extension English as well as this year ranked 7th in Advanced English. Further, with my extensive debating experience and college captaincy, I know all about expressing ideas in a variety of both persuasive and creative ways. Teaching Style: In terms of teaching style I have a very relaxed method that focuses on discussion and exploring ideas, as that is what is important in subjects like English. I have the goal of taking the ideas students come up with and shaping them so that they become killer essays! Main things I teach: Year 7 - 10 English Year 7 - 8 Math Year 9 - "Romeo and Juliet" and any other essay checking for alternate texts Year 10. - "Fahrenheit 451", "MacBeth" and any other essay checking for alternate texts Relevant Experience: Through school I have had the ability to work with primary school students for two years teaching them about catholicism. This has given me insight on what it is like to teach and what methods are more effective then others, especially when it comes to answering questions and learning on your own.
