USYD MEDICINE | LAWYER Hi my name is Scott Venter. I am an English tutor. My classes are perfect for students with long-term ambitions to enter medical school or law school. I have 7+ years of tertiary education experience in the two most competitive degrees and want to impart the skills that I now know in order to allow you to excel in your high school studies and to not make the same mistakes academically that I made in high school. I was unguided - you don't have to be. -----About me: I am currently studying a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. I am in my 2nd year. I am in the top third of my cohort academically. I am an admitted and qualified lawyer, having graduated with a combined degree of law and finance with First Class Honours from Macquarie University in early 2021. I received numerous awards for academic excellence with a weighted-average-mark within the top 5-10% of the cohort. I have further study in the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. ----- My classes: I have extensive peer support teaching experience within the Doctor of Medicine curriculum. I teach years 7 - 12 1-2 hours weekly. Weekdays and Weekends via Zoom. Please bring your work so that we can review. If I think I need to direct you to alternative supplemental notes and resources, I will. However, simply memorising notes and textbooks is passive learning and is discouraged. I can also mark essays for $45 a piece.
