EXPERIENCED ONLINE/IN-PERSON TUTORING! Are you or your child struggling with all the school work and wish for meaningful changes to occur? Don't worry I am here to help! Hello! My name is Evan, and I offer in-person/online tutoring sessions tailored to students and their success. I am an experienced tutor, having done so for a few years now (since at high school) mainly in areas of Maths, Science and English. For me, I achieved my own success from the ground up. What this means is I focused most on the basics of a concept, syllabus, point, topic etc. before moving towards more advanced applications of its use that require higher thinking. I found this relevant not only in high school, but even now at University where I sit at a HD level WAM. Now, as an experienced tutor I aim to instil this same framework when approaching studies, and in doing so aim to build self-confidence and a strong work ethic in all my students. Currently, I am a student at UNSW, studying Bioinformatics Engineering (Honours) alongside a Masters in Biomedical Engineering. In High School, I graduated from St Ignatius College Riverview in 2022 with an ATAR of 99.10, which is where I have gained the knowledge and skill to be a perfectly able and willing tutor. With Band 6's in 7/8 of the HSC courses I completed (2 of which were accelerated courses I did in Year 11), I have an acute understanding on study skills, exam technique, refining answers and minimising silly mistakes. Alongside tutoring service, I have access to a large collection of notes, past papers & textbooks which I can share. I am more than willing to offer assistance outside class times whether through text, email or via phone call.
