Hi there! I’m Nikita - a working actor, professional writer, and English & Drama tutor with 8 years’ experience teaching Years 7–HSC. I tailor every lesson to each student, and my students have achieved excellent results - including state rankings and top cohort positions. I love literature, creative writing, and theatre, and enjoy sharing this passion with my students. I believe that with hard work and consistency, ANY student can excel. My best students have received outstanding results (state rankings and top rankings in their cohort at school) because they work hard both during and between our lessons. And so, I expect my students to come to lessons prepared and ready to learn. LESSON DETAILS Format: Online Hours: 4-8pm, Mon-Thursday Rate: $100 per hour (Yr 7-11), $120 (Yr 12) Cancellation policy: any cancellations within 24hours of a lesson will now incur a 50% fee WHAT I OFFER - Essay writing: structure, thesis, argument building - Analytical & critical thinking skills - Creative & discursive writing guidance (as a professional writer) - Support in grammar, comprehension, and spelling, with tailored activities such as spelling tests and Excel workbooks if needed ABOUT ME I'm a NIDA Acting Graduate (with multiple credits at Sydney Theatre Company, Belvoir and on screen) and professional writer - meaning I'm a frequent participant in TV writers rooms and a playwright. I was fortunate enough to win the highly competitive Rebel Wilson Comedy Commission for my play AMBER which was staged earlier this year at the Old Fitz and is now being adapted for screen.
