Hi, I'm Shaarik, a fourth-year university student at ANU completing a double degree in Actuarial Studies and Advanced Computing, with a major in Statistics and Data Science. Mathematics has been at the core of everything I've studied and built, and I genuinely enjoy helping others develop the same confidence with it. I achieved a selection rank of 98.20, I tutor across all levels of high school maths, from Year 7 foundations right through to Year 12 advanced and extension content. Whether you're trying to pass, aiming for a band 6, or just want to stop dreading maths class, I'll meet you where you're at. My approach is straightforward: I don't just walk you through worked examples and call it done. I focus on making sure you actually understand what's happening and why, so you can handle questions you've never seen before which is exactly what exams test. Outside of university, I've applied maths professionally across data analytics, financial modelling, and statistical analysis in consulting and tech roles. I bring that real-world perspective into sessions so maths feels less abstract and more like a tool that actually does something useful. Sessions are structured around what you need most whether that's exam preparation, catching up on missed content, or building from the ground up.
