I completed the HSC in 2022 achieving a 98.55 ATAR, and in 2023 achieved a 90.6 WAM undertaking the first year of a Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney before beginning the medical program at The University of Newcastle. Having experienced both the HSC and university, and through tutoring a variety of students from years 1 - 12, I am well equipped to provide students with personalised lessons catering for individual needs, including regular topic quizzes and homework to be able to see and communicate the progress of students. I provide tutoring for the following subjects: - Maths Advanced - Maths Extension 1 - Chemistry - Biology - Medical interview training (having experience in a variety of interview formats, and carefully crafted resources for each) - UCAT preparation (97th percentile score in 2023) HSC: | 92 Maths Advanced (completed as 2021 Maths Accelerant) | 93 Maths Extension 1 | 91 Biology | 93 English Advanced Bachelor of Science (Medical Science): | 94 CHEM1A | 92 CHEM1B | 92 Human Biology | 92 BIOL1007 My goal as a tutor is to provide students with the skills to not only succeed in exams, but to study effectively and with purpose to maintain balance in their final years of school. Having personally endured the demanding process of entering the medical field, I genuinely understand the difficulties involved in gaining admission, and will be able to be contacted outside of classes free of charge for advice and any questions that may arise. MY RATES: I conduct lessons in either 1.5 or 2 hour blocks, depending on the needs of the student. This ensures adequate time to cover content and iron out any issues that arise. - $70/hr for 1:1 HSC subject classes - $40/hr for 2 person group classes (Open to discussion if a larger group is desired) - $100/hr for Interview training - $150 for mock interview + marking and feedback Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have
