Hey! I'm Maddie and I'm currently studying my Masters of Music Therapy at Melbourne University. My main area of expertise is guitar and it's associated theory. I'm here to help develop your own voice. I am also a theory head!! I've had a lot of work experience spanning multiple industries including hospitality, retail, photography and music. I worked in both causal and fine dining for hospitality, small business for retail, owned my own business in photography, and multiple projects within music (pit musician for musical theatre, composing for small games and a short film, personal artwork with original pieces). I am able to tutor on Wednesday mornings until 1pm, and Fridays from 7am-5pm. I tutor from my house via Zoom, Skype or in-person. My approach to tutoring is to encourage students to engage in their own curiosity through my facilitation of inquiry-based learning to take on an active and participatory role within lessons, supporting their own ideas, questions and learning. Worksheets, notes and textbooks will be determined based on the goals of the student. I can offer levels of tutoring up to university level.
